Dr. Bruno is an experienced General Practitioner with over 15 years in emergency medicine and surgery.
He graduated from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal in 2003. Since that time he has been practicing medicine in various hospitals and clinics in Portugal, Angola, Kazakhstan and at International remote projects.
He possesses certificates in ATLS, ACLS, PHDTLS and many others.
He speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently.

Dr. Azer Babakhanov, Senior Medical Officer
Dr. Azer Babakhanov has been with International SOS company since 2003 as Senior Medical Officer. Throughout 18 years of his medical practice within International SOS he proved to be competent, reliable and well regarded doctor with high ethical and professional standards. Before being part of International SOS he used to work in various European countries.
He possesses medical degree from State Medical University by Nariman Narimanov in Baku and various international postgraduate qualifications and certificates, including those which he has been through til now.
He speaks Russian, English and Azeri fluently.

Psychotherapist Jamila ISMAYILOVA MD, MSc, PhD trainee
Dr. Ismayilova is a Psychiatrist/Psychotherapist graduated from the Azerbaijan Medical University with Honors degree and was awarded the International Master of Science in Mental Health Policy and Services by the University Nova of Lisbon (Portugal).
In 2016 she was selected as a Fogarty/NIMH/NIH research fellow to attend Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA). In 2018 she completed a course on psychopharmacology at St. Catherine's College of the University of Oxford (Oxford, England).
Dr. Ismayilova is a Board member of the European Psychiatric Association(EPA), Member of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP), Member of the World Psychiatric Association(WPA). In 2017 she has been elected as the Secretary for International Relations of the Azerbaijan Psychiatric Association(AzPA)
She is the author of articles published in international scientific journals.
She coordinated the WHO Project on Adults with Mental Disabilities Living in Institutions in the European Region and is actively involved in professional training activities. She is a co-director of the first training center for Evidence-Based Medicine in Azerbaijan and has an expertise in modern psychotherapy including cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, family therapy and motivational interviewing.

Dr. Leyla Abdulkarimova - Pediatrician
Dr. Leyla joined International SOS Baku clinic in September 2014 as a National Pediatrician with Azerbaijani, English and Russian language skills.
She is graduated from the Pediatrics Faculty of Azerbaijan State Medical University and has over 14 years of international experience working as a resident pediatrician at General Hospital in Turaif, Saudi Arabia, and practicing emergency medicine and primary care in private hospitals throughout Azerbaijan.
